This beautiful track belongs to the movie Commando which is directed by Dilip Gosh and produced by Vipul Shah. The music is given by Manan Shah and the lyrics are by Mayur Puri.

A soft romantic classical track which takes you back perhaps to the time of the Mughal Era where hearts filled with love can imagine the magnificent castles lit by dias, fountains in the background.

The Shahi musicians playing sitar and among this whole scene surrounds the mystical voice of Khan Saab.

In this track he uses soft tones of his voice and exhibits his extra ordinary expertise of classical notes.

The music launch of this movie was a very dramatic event and was held at Chandan Cinema in Juhu.

This song is from the movie Rangrezz and the music is given by Sajid-Wajid. The movie is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and the lyrics are by Sameer. Direction of the movie is done by Priya Darshan.

A crisp blend of Qawali with foot tapping music is a very trendy treat for the listeners. The lyrics compliment the music and the icing on the cake is Khan Saab’s melodious voice.
This song is different from his usual tracks as it has a blend of both qawali and modern music which will capture the hearts of both young and mature listeners.

Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is known to combine the traditional mysticism of Sufi music with oriental beats, which we like to call Qawali. This Pakistani artist, who is more known for his Bollywood hits despite having a very large fan base in Pakistani, expressed in an interview his motive for playing music is the promotion peace.

This tradition of becoming a musician was actually inherited from his uncle, the legend of the genre, the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, a man who is still remembered for his work all over the world. The genre of Sufi music is currently on a movement that is hoping to counter the extremist Islamist movement which is undergoing in parts of Pakistan and other countries.

For Rahat, music isn’t just entertainment; rather it’s a message being sung to listeners as a way to promote peace, friendship and love just like his ancestors have carried forth, starting from Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.
